Please follow these instructions carefully:Wash the garment separately in the washing machine with cold water only and on a short programme. Use a neutral detergent, preferably liquid. Add a little softener during the last rinse. Spin to remove most of the water. To dry: spread the garment out in a horizontal position on a white towel, never expose it to direct sunlight or to heat. When the upper side of the garment is dry, turn it over. We recommend using an old towel as the dyes in the leather could cause stains. Before wearing the garment again or putting it away, wait until it is completely dry. Recently washed leather shrinks slightly and seems somewhat stiff. However, it recovers the original size, softness and flexibility with use.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Do not apply detergent directly to spots or stains: after drying this could cause uneven variations in the colour. Do not use a drier: prolonged exposure to hot air can alter the structure of the leather and the shape of the garment. Do not hang the garment up to dry: because the weight of the water in it could pull it out of shape. Ironing is not advisable. Do not wash too frequently: constant subjection to the washing process could impair the colour quality. This is a leather garment: the surface patina which it acquires with use must not be confused with the need for washing.
Enjoy wearing it!
