EMU Australia is a genuine Australian based sheepskin footwear company, that is based in Geelong Australia, the heart of the finest quality wool growing district in the world, and the birthplace of the Australian “ugg” boot.

Unlike other leading brands, EMU boots only use sheepskin from top quality Australian sheep, and don’t use mixes of inferior breeds from other countries. EMU uses a Border Lester/Merino cross sheepskin from the famous Western District of Victoria Australia for its unique properties of dense plush pile. The sheepskin boots are actually manufactured at Jackson’s tannery, a 130 year old heritage-listed tannery, and the birthplace of the Ugg boot.

EMU boots are great in to keep you warm in winter, but thanks to the unusual molecular structure of wool, it can keep you cool in summer too, as the fibres breath naturally, wicking away water.

They feature a removable contoured sheepskin insole with arch support, and upgraded dual density emusole extra-cushion EVA for comfort and support, with hard wearing abrasion resistant TPR rubber out sole. This makes them more practical than other brands as they have better grip and are better for your feet.
